Now Available: My Corporate to Startup Conversation on the FounderSense Podcast
I recently joined the team at FounderSense to talk about why I left a high-profile VP role, what inspired me to start Taylo AI, and how we are trying to change the experience of neurodiverse children in schools.
It was one of the more energising conversations I have had. The kind that reminds you why you went from corporate to startup.

You can listen to the episode here:
What We Talked About
Leaving a corporate career to build something meaningful
I left a global VP role to solve a problem I could no longer ignore.
Why the system is not built for every child
My daughter, like many neurodiverse children, was being left behind. Not because she could not learn, but because no one could teach her in the way she needed.
The moment it became personal
She started to believe she wasn’t clever. That broke something in me - and it became clear that if we didn’t act, more children would carry that belief into adulthood.
What Taylo does differently
Most platforms deliver content. Taylo delivers actual support. It understands each pupil, adapts in real time, and encourages them to think, not just answer.
Building something with purpose
This journey has not been easy. But I would not swap it. Because every time a child says, “I finally get it,” we are reminded why it matters.
From Frustration to Focus
I built Taylo because too many neurodiverse children are being let down.
Because the delays in getting access to support are too long.
Because teachers are overwhelmed.
Because parents are exhausted from trying to advocate without support.
Taylo exists to be the support these pupils should already have - right from the start.
If you are curious about the mission behind Taylo, or have lived this story as a parent, teacher, or school leader, this podcast is for you.
